One of the coolest places I have been on a road trip. When we went there was nobody there and we could wander at our own pace. Boulders are huge. We went here on a road trip and I highly recommend. Full review by keenanz2020

Yes it is. The road is maintaines so can get rhere if its been raining

Do you have to go on a dirt road to get to rock city in Kansas?
A:
It is a short dirt road about 1/2 mile. As I recall, there was plenty of gravel on it.

I believe you can go all day. They have a charge but we went after hours and no one was there to collect the fee.
