Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to be leading separate lives lately, as news of another function one of them went to alone has come to light. Prince Harry has regularly traveled to and from the United Kingdom without Meghan.

Prince Harry presented an award at a fundraiser organised by Kevin Costney on Friday night but was not joined by Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex is said to be nursing a sickness and sat out as the now 40-year-old royal appeared at the Santa Barbara One805Live! annual event, reports the Mirror.

Meghan Markle was also joined at the event by Colombia’s Vice President, Francia Márquez, who had invited the couple to the country. Speaking briefly in Spanish, she thanked Colombia for its warm welcome, saying, “Because we are in your country, my husband and I can feel this embrace from Colombia — it’s incredible.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not participate in their staff’s voter registration event, but they encourage people to exercise their rights at the ballot box.

Prince Harry reportedly had a small, low-key birthday celebration when he turned 40 on Sunday, September 15, but some royal experts think he would have gone in another direction if it wasn't for Meghan Markle.
