Neil Robertson is bidding for his first ranking event title in two years against Wu Yize in the English Open final.

Wu Yize has done an incredible job in this tournament and will now focus on winning the title. In his last tournament before this, the Chinese lost 5-4 to Judd Trump in the Saudi Arabia Masters round 1/16.

Neil Robertson secured his place in the English Open final with a dominant 6-1 win over Chris Wakelin at the Brentwood Centre on Saturday evening. He takes a step closer to a long awaited 24th ranking title but will have to get the better of Wu Yize who has a chance of a first after a 6-0 whitewash victory over Ishpreet Singh Chadha.

The 20-year-old knocked out world number one Judd Trump in the quarter-finals and continued his memorable run in Brentwood with another fine display to reach the final.
