The shooting happened around 10 p.m. along the 600 block of Almanac Avenue, according to Lancaster City police.

A juvenile male was hospitalized after a shooting occurred in Lancaster City last night. According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, on September 20 at around 10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Almanac Avenue for a report of shots fired.

The juvenile, whose name and age were not released, threatened a Hempfield School District middle school, according to area police.

Police in Dauphin County are investigating a school threat made on social media.
